Emmanuelle Naux inscrit sa pratique dans un dialogue constant avec la nature. "Je suis attentive à la reconfiguration perpétuelle du paysage qui m’entoure" , confie-t-elle. Chaque élément, feuille, fleur, graine, bois ou écorce est récolté avec précision, au moment juste, selon son cycle naturel.
À la manière d’un agriculteur, elle rend visite aux arbres au fil des saisons, observe l’hydrométrie, les sécheresses, les variations de textures et de couleurs ; elle note les pénuries comme les abondances, et ajuste ses gestes à ces métamorphoses.
Chaque récolte suit un protocole minutieux : lavage, traitement, découpe, mise en forme, coloration, séchage, puis conservation. Chaque plante est répertoriée, localisée, datée, soigneusement documentée.
Entre rigueur botanique et approche scientifique, le végétal devient un partenaire de création : il structure l’œuvre autant qu’il en révèle la beauté silencieuse.

Harvest in the Rhythm of the Earth
Emmanuelle Naux grounds her artistic practice in a continuous dialogue with nature. “I remain attentive to the landscape’s endless transformations,” she explains. Each element, leaf, flower, seed, wood, or bark is gathered with precision, always at its rightful moment, in harmony with its natural cycle.
Like a cultivator returning to her trees with the passing of seasons, she observes hydrometry, droughts, and the shifting textures and hues of the land. She takes note of both scarcity and abundance, adapting her gestures to the ever-changing rhythms of the environment.
Every harvest follows a meticulous ritual ; washing, treating, cutting, shaping, tinting, drying, preserving. Each plant is catalogued, mapped, dated, and carefully documented.
Balancing botanical rigor with a scientific sensibility, Emmanuelle transforms the vegetal into a true creative partner, one that both shapes the work and reveals its silent beauty.
